This new Academy encompassing a nursery, primary and secondary school was completed in 2013 and designed by BDP. Sally was lead landscape architect for the school grounds whilst at BDP.
The Academy’s specialism in health and science provided a fantastic opportunity to encourage physical activities and to run an ‘edible’ theme throughout the outdoor spaces. These included a vegetable garden and eco dome in the secondary school as well as a ‘hungry caterpillar’ eat-me planting in the nursery & primary school.
